He: What are your plans for the evening?
She: I am going for a book reading in Andheri.
“OK… have you noticed how everybody from film stars to authors have turned into marketing professionals, busy hawking their products.”
“Yup… you are right.”
“Earlier it was not so. Can you imagine Dilip Kumar or R K Narayan at a press conference, singing paeans to their latest movie or book?”
“Very true. And have you noticed one thing?”
“What?”
“In the end it is the quality of the product that sells. No amount of hype could rescue Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag or Kites.”
