Mr. K to a friend:
“I grew up in Madhya Pradesh. When we were in college, my friends and I used to cycle six kilometres every afternoon to cool off in the Son river.
Here in Mumbai, I saw the swimming pool in my housing complex for the first time in two years when I was showing some guests around.”
Here’s a mediaman who’s seen it all, done it all… over more than four decades… from letterpress to Internet publishing. Along the way, he has brought out corporate in-house magazines; assigned work to and guided and supervised the efforts of reporters; commissioned news and feature stories, analyses, comment pieces and special reports; coordinated with networks of correspondents; reworked cover stories and features and helped launch magazines as well as corporate websites. And all along, he continues improving on his basic skills of writing/editing and photography…
