Namaste Britain!
A passenger waits for his bus on a cold and misty morning.
People here don’t don’t wish one another with a “Hello” or “Good morning”.
Their first words are “Sunny day today” or “Looks like it’s going to rain”.

Home in the valley
The picturesque suburb of Coldean in Brighton, Sussex, United Kingdom, where we landed this morning.
Coldean (Col + dean = cold valley) was developed by the Brighton Corporation in the 1950s as one of several postwar council estates necessitated by the acute housing shortage in the area after World War II. Some of the farm buildings and cottages here go back to the 18th century.
The development of the nearby universities of Brighton and Sussex in the 20th century led to the construction of many housing units for students who come to study in Brighton from all over the world.
